The idea for this handbag - my very first - had been in my mind for a couple of months, and in the past weeks I finally found the time to start drawing and making it. The bag has a "split" flap, and closes uspide down.
I made it in grey linen I bought at Rotterdam market, and combined it with a Liberty Mitsi leftover from this dress. The striped lining is from the same baby duvet cover I also used in this dress. On the strap, I stitched some mustard bias ribbon.
Ik woon in Antwerpen, maar ik werk in Rotterdam. De markt ligt op de weg naar mijn werk, en daar profiteer ik al eens van ;-) Geweldig hoeveel stoffenkramen die markt heeft! En Schroeder spring ik ook al eens binnen. Jij woont wel in Rotterdam, toch?
